Today, I got a blog at blog spot.com by creating a account. I got it by going to blog spot and gave it my address account and a password and I had a problem with getting my name on the address bar, so I had to add a number to it. Then I had to start 5 blogs for Health 2 so I can do work on it. Then I put two links on it so I can get there faster.

Today in class we discussed the 5 components of health which are social,emotional,physical,mental, and spiritual health. We went outside and completed some activities. These activities helped us have a better understanding of where the 5 components of health come into our every day lives.

What is juicing and why would you want to have juicing be part of a health lifestyle?
Well when you are juicing you can put any fruits you want in the juicer and fruit is healthy and they can help you loose weight because it is low on fat and it gets you energized so you would want to get up and do more. Juicing is not expensive so you can make more without worrying about the cost of it. Juicing will help you get in shape because it has all the nutrition that you need for your body and you can loose weight doing it.

Today we learned about 7 different STI's you can get and what they can do for you and what you can do to get ride of or take care of it so it won't get to worse so it may cause death or other severe stuff.

Today we learned all about safety methods that you can use to prevent pregnancy and to prevent getting an STI and what the difference between non homonial and hormonial birth control.

Today we tried to have Sara do her juicing project but she didn't have the right fruit so we had to postpone hers to the back of the line. Then we finished up having everybody present there vitamins besides Dustin and Wendel.

Today we finished our vitamins and Gabe was suppose to do his juicing project but just like Sara he didn't have the right equipment so he too has to wait to present his. Wendel started an interesting conversation with Mr. Cohun about if the government should help us or not and I think they shouldn't help us because if they do more people wouldn't rely on themselves and rely more on the government.

Today we watched a film because Mr. Cohun wasn't there and it was talking about how teenagers have it rough and when he was a teenager he went through the same thing and what the choices they have to make and if they are bad or not.

Today Mr. Cohun gave us an assignment on tobacco and my one was women and tobacco. Then went to the computer lab and i read up on the stuff I had to do for the tobacco unit.

We went over testicular cancer and a couple of questions about it to see what we know about that certain type of cancer.

I wasn't in school on this but one of my friends said that we went over testicular cancer again and made a bunch of jokes about it.

Today we talked about testicular cancer again and then i had to go finish my necap testing so that was all i was in for.

Today we were suppose to go over our tobacco stuff we did but his computer wouldn't work so we did black jack with some facts about smoking on it and if we lose we would have to write the facts on the card down on a piece of paper, but if you win against the dealer you would have to put a check on the paper and I won 4 times.

Today we started reading our tobacco stuff one at a time and Molly went first and hers was nicotine and nicotine withdrawal. Then it was Gabe and his was why quite and Gabe was the last person to present his tobacco stuff for today.

Today we had more people present there tobacco projects and the people who went today was Jamie and his was help with psychological addiction, Cj his was help with physical addiction, Kiya and hers was quitting success rates, how to quite, and dealing with withdrawal, last who presented today was Wendel and his was cigar smoking. Earlier on today Molly made her juicing recipe and it was fruit punch.

Today I did my juicing recipe and it was grapes and oranges. Then we went over a bunch of stuff about tobacco and what the different types of cancer you can get from it. Finally we did this game for our final and me CJ and Gabe were on teams and kinda lost.

Today in class we had a subsitute. We went to the computer lab and worked on our Wiki assignment. We read about addiction and then posted responses into the forum. Some of the things we read about were the symptoms, myths, the damage it causes, ect. If we had time after we were done we were allowed to work on our blogs to make sure they were all set for the end of the quarter.

Today Wendel did his juicing recipe and it wasn't good and we did another one which was better than Wendels. Then we talked about tobacco and that was it.

Today we went and juiced Gabes juicing project and his was apple, kiwi, grapefruit, and orange and it tasted very orange the first time but the second time it tasted like strong grapefruit.

Today we watched a film about alcohol and what it does to people who are addicted or just plain like drinking it do to them.
